Long hair in office?

I think generally short hair are preferred But if need to keep long hair then may be a neat pony is ok. I have seen my IT manager supporting and no adverse comments ! On the contrary many girls swoon !

Long hair in office?

No issues till the time its not liked by you boss

Long hair in office?

not good, no one will allow in office, but depends where u work.

Long hair in office?

depends on you job profile ! (I mean r u in sales, marketing, finance etc.)

since you maintain it a lot its ok to keep long but tidy hair. somebody should not get disgusted feelings.

Long hair in office?

I love long hair especially on men. If you are well groomed. And pull it back in a pony. No one should care. I think it is grande indeed!

Long hair in office?

No it's not a good idea.

Long hair in office?

long hair will differciate from others, but i think not good

Long hair in office?

Take cues from your co-workers. Are they all dudes with pony-tales or mostly close-crop buzz cuts? Size-up your boss as well. His general demeanor and appearance may let you guess if he would allow/approve of your long hair.

If all else fails, you can grow it and simply cut it if you find it is inappropriate. But remember to always keep it as professional-looking and well kept as possible in a corporate setting, regardless of length. (All this advice can be thrown out if you're a video game programmer or work for Facebook or something! haha)

Long hair in office?

it all depends on how you maintain your "do". keep it well trimmed, you dont want any split ends, and keep it clean, as long as you dont look dirty you should be fine. keep it up until told otherwise.

you didnt specify how long it actually is. if its rather long, like shoulder or past consider cutting a few inches off. KEEP IT ABOVE THE SHOULDERS. you dont have to go all cliche mens haircut by any means, you just dont want to give the wrong impression. besides "shaggy" hair is innow anyways. i hope i helped

Long hair in office?

It doesn't go well with corporate bosses. A person with long hair, however neatly maintained does not fit into the corporate image. It is silly but a fact. But that doesn't mean you have to cut like a US marine. Keep it just right: Your hair can just touch your collar at the back but should not hang lose. Picture your self standing next to your chairman or MD in full suit or tuxedo, but with long hair clipped behind. Will you put a good impression. In US people are more progressive, and by and large it is accepted. In India and other developed countries, following the English life style, short hair for business executives is the rule. If you deviate, you will risk your promotion in the corp. ladder.

You have to be a painter, singer, self-employed professional, or anything but a company employee, to wear a long hair.

I went through this in my career. I was a full time attorney and lengthy hair did not augur well with judges. Wear your hair short, go up in your career, and when you reach your late forties you can have your hair plaited like Mel Gibson. Till then visit your barber, once a month.

Sorry to let you down.

Long hair in office?

It depends if you can carry the look- but I agree with one of the commenters to keep it above your shoulders. My friend is 23 and has hair up to his chin and works in an office and so far nobody has complained! Maybe for important meetings you can straighten your hair or something or have a trim, so long as you keep it neat. No reason not to have the hairstyle you want- I say only cut it if you find it's starting to be a problem with the bosses/ your job.

Long hair in office?

You did not mentioned if you were in employment at present.

If you are I would say there is no problem, but if you are not, I recommend you ask your future boss if is OK.

Jobs are generally given on appearance and your aptitude to the job, and if your aptitude, is better than your looks you are a winner.

However the image that you have displays the image of a company, and this will be most shunned upon from you middle aged executives.

I would say is if you want a good job do as the robots do, and keep them happy, if you are willing to wait...Just Chill for that right job,

We do not get what we want in life sacrifice is there.

Long hair in office?

i don't think so because i mean if u look good then go ahead otherwise i would not suggest it for men.

Long hair in office?

In my opinion, long hair is still considered in funky look. If you have a job which involves meeting customers or other company's representatives then i would say get rid of long hair. And if you sit in a cubicle, not meeting lot of people then depends on your boss. If he gives you a hint then you know what is the next step; if not then chillax.

Long hair in office?

Long hair really not good in office.........
