My daughter just finished chemo and really wants hair extensions as soon as her hair is long enough. She's a teenager and misses her long hair.

It depends on what type of extensions you want. If her hair is really short right now, try going to an ethnic salon and having tracks glued in. They are really good at hiding the tracks in short hair, when it gets to about 4 inches (6-8 months) long you can have fusion extensions put in, its harder to blend in the layers in the hair if its shorter and you have to cut a lot of the extension off to make it blend.
