Short or Long hair???Any suggestions??

ive tried fauxhawk..looks cool,but it sucks! i dont want to put gel every day when i go out...i want my long surfer hair back coz that is what makes me diff..but it makes me look intimidating when i go to conservative places..i want short surfer hair. pics???any
