Long hair on boys?

What do you all think of young boys (4 1/2 years old) having long hair. My son has long hair and people either LOVE it or people tell me he needs a haircut which is rude of them to say unless I ask their opinion, His hair isn't REALLY long like pony tail long but cut around his face and long. I love it and think he is a baby doll!

It's totally fine to keep it long. It's really up to you and your son. The only problem I see with having long hair for a young child is when they eats, their hair will get in their food and their hair just might always be in the way with activities.

I think long hair on little boys is perfectly acceptable. As a matter of fact, it shouldn't be cut unless your child wants it cut if it isn't causing any problems. I say let kids express their own opinions on how they want to look!
