like all my freinds family even people have long hair(boys) and i have short hair i am not in the crowd every time i mean every TIME i get soo close to getting it long like i want it BOOM ZIP there goes my hair it gets cut then..... i get stuck in the same situation my freinds dont really like short hair im over here trying to get a girl but all of them like long hair!!!!! please please help mee

You're a little screwed until you're 18. Once you are, your parents have no say in how you have your hair.

DID YOU TRY TELLING YOUR PARENTS THAT YOU DON'T LIKE HAVING SHORT HAIR, AND THAT YOU PREFER LONGER HAIR??? IF THEY SAY NO... THEN BE LIKE "CANT I JUST TRY IT OUT FOR A WHILE?" N LET THEM KNOW THAT IF YOU WERE TO GET LONG HAIR, AND IT DIDN'T LOOK RIGHT ON YOU, YOU COULD CUT IT OFF. BTU IF IT DOES THEN SCORE 2 FOR YOU!!! BUT I'M PRETTY SURE THEY WILL REALIZE HOW GOOD IT LOOKS ON YOU... I THINK SOME GUYS LOOK HOT WIT LONG HAIR!!!

What I did?

Next time its getting close to haircut time, find someway to avoid it.

See I managed to avoid it JUST long enough so that it was "long hair"

Once they see it actually looks good on you, they'll be ok.

But right before it hits that long hair style, It looks like ****.

Explain to them what your going for, and tell them to just let you grow it long ONCE, and if they don't like it they can have it cut.

But the girls all, LOVE my long hair.

PPL who say its outta style, Its bullshit.

I've had so many ppl make me promise not to cut it.

I don't have long hair, but my friend's brother used to have very long hair. I know someone who wants short hair, but their mom wants it long. Um...make a list of the benefits of long hair and talk it out with your parents. Or look for good looking short hairstyles.

You might think of personal appearence. Though you want long hair, it is generally not a good advertizement to a potential employeer. Every one says to not care what people think, but it is important what people think. I wanted long hair also when I was young but now I'm glad that my parents wouldn't let me. I kept an appearence of always being well groomed, and thats what an employeer wants to represent their company. If you're 14 or under, well then I think it doesn't matter, but if older it does.
