I think it makes them look like little girls...how can a mum not cut her son's hair and risk teasing in school or nursury... just because she think's it looks cute and the son's to young to know better...It actually makes me angry.
I think a boy's hair should be regularly cut from the age of one.. Until their about nine and they can make the long hair or short hair decision for themself.
Do you all agree or why on earth not?
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
Hate long hair on boys.
It's usually mothers of boys with curly Shirley Temple blond locks that think it looks cute, it doesn't It looks horrible.
Niikkii
Your answer makes no sense at all.
Why would anyone want to get a kids hair cut if it had not grown?
The question is about boys with LONG hair.
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
I am TOTALLY WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
but then again some moms just love that baby locks..
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
i think its cute! it depends on the child's decision
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
i do not agree with you my bro had long hair at the age 4 and he was so so cute!
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
I disagree.. why is it any of your business what people do with there child's hair? Raise your own kids instead of trying to raise other peoples kids. If you don't like boys with long hair, deal with it, because that's life, so get used to it.
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
Next time you see a mother with a son who has long hair, you should spit on her.
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
i totally agree long hair on boys is just asking for them to be teased and what further annoys me is that its always these mums that get all offended when their son is mistaken for a girl... hello what do they expect!!
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
Yeah, I agree with you, guys short hair, girls long hair ...........
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
i must say shorter hair on little boys def makes them look like males and avoids the confusion, but i think at this time in society it's a norm and a style for little boys to have long hair... but i personally would make sure to have my little boys nice and trimmed
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
Ah nah don't really agree...Its probably a better idea to discourage other people from sterotyping and teasing children...wouldn't you say? lol...rather than making it alright to do so.
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
Depends on how it looks some kids look cute with it. Now on the other hand my nephew had long hair and he looked so gross that we begged his mom to go get it cut but she would not do it so we took him one day after school and went and got it cut.
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
I think it's really cute.
My godson is 4 and he doesn't have 'long' hair but it's not short either, kind of in between. His mum doesn't want to cut it because its blonde and curly and if its cut all the curls will go and probably wont grow back.
He doesnt get teased, everyone comments on his beautiful hair.
I think its the mums decision as she decides everything else for him. Of course when hes older he'll choose for himself but right now its fine.
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
I agree...I also think that it is wrong to give your child a mohawk, especially when they don't even know what one is...LoL. It's ridiculous that I've seen a lot of younger children with crazy hair cuts...or younger kids in elementary school with died hair....WHAT'S UP WITH THAT????
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
I guess they like to hear " what a cute girl". OR maybe times like that the parent(s) may have wanted a girl instead or they would not mind risking having that mistaken impression then. The parent(s) may be former hippies and don't care what their kid looks like in that I guess. I just don't see what the point of having a boy with long hair does for any of them then.
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
No I think it's fine. I think it's weird to impose adult ideas of gender on a little kid (i.e. long hair makes him look like a girl). Up until a while ago most babies were dressed in what would now be considered feminine clothing. I think it's worse to give a boy an army style haircut as if he's supposed to be some kind of soldier at age 2. Or parents that will only dress their son in blue and decorate their room with sports crap. That's like imposing princess decor on all little girls.

Why would a boy be teased for it, when half of the boys have long hair now?
My son (age 3) always had a short military cut. However, when his older cousins, their friends, and his own friends from play group started having longer hair, he wanted to try it - yes, he made the decision himself. I choose to pick my battles over more important things. He doesn't have long hair like a girl, but it's a little on the long side - maybe an inch or so above the nape of his neck. While I never could have imagined it before, it's absolutely precious now - beautiful golden curls, and he definitely doesn't look like a girl.
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
It looks rather ridiculous. It isn't cute even; it just looks bizarre. Yeah, I've heard all the "Jesus [supposedly] had long hair" business and so on, but letting your son growing up practically regarded as a girl is cruel! When he's old enough and tough enough, and wants long hair, then that's the time to have it, not as a child. Why put your son at risk of all sorts of complexes!
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
i hate it! also i hate it whenever guys have really long hairno matter the age..i mean come on ....so yes i agree with you
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
I disagree. Plenty of boys look cute with long hair.
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
Not too long!
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
I don't think it is something to spend too much time worrying about it. As long as it is not in the childs line of vision then it is not hurting the child. I may not agree with some of the clothes people dress their children in either but it is their choice. As far as the hair, my oldest daughter is in 4th grade and is named Bailey. In her class there is a boy named Bailey and his hair is very long and I thought he was a girl at first. He seems to be a well rounded kid though and had no problem with it. I guess I should go back to the old "It is not what is on the outside, it is what is on the inside that counts" Some people have their girls ears pierced as babies. I do not. It is not right for my family but not my place to judge others.
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
My 3 yr old has long hair. I cut it off one time time and it looked terrible short! He doesn't have the face for short hair right now. His dad and I both think he looks cute with his long hair. And as far as I am concerned.. it is nobodys business what I do with my sons hair. It doesn't hang in his eyes so that you can't see his face. It is always trimmed and he looks good that way!
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
Not a big fan of it either.
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
I absolutely loathe it with a venom.
I always wish i had a pair of scissors on me when I see some mop haired boys.
I await a record number of thumbs down please.
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
Itsok when they are first born but when they get older to six or whatever and most people it looks quite babyish, sometimes you feel like cutting it off yourself but each to their own opinion, just let their kids suffer embarrassment..
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
Not for me to decide.
But more often than not, he'll regret it when he's older.
Imagine what those MMmBop Hanson kids are feeling now...
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
If someone else's hair makes you angry, i have to wonder what you do when you have a real issue?
It's not your hair, so don't worry about it.
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
Where is it your place to be a judgmental prick? It is honestly the parent's choice. It isn't your child, so lay off. Don't you have better things to do than worry about other people's choice of style?
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
my son is 18months with long hair and he looks like a boy... u know why cuz i dress him like a boy... so be angry at me!!! its stupid u get angry from it.. and other ppl too but im damn sure my son is cuter then ur kids even with the long hair

Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
I agree with Nichole! Raise your own kids instead of trying to raise other peoples kids. Maybe they think it's cute. There is nothing you can do about it. If you don't like boys with long hair, you just have to deal with it.
Little boys with long hair...Don't you hate it!?
you've got to be kidding me, out of all the things that could upset you..you get upset about a child's hair!?
what happens if by the time they reach 1 their hair is still short and dont really need a haircut? are you still going to force the kid to get a haircut?
my son's firt hair cut was at 18 months old, his hair had grown perfectly, by that i mean it wasnt even long it was really short and was just right, everyone always thought he had a hair cut when he didnt, the only reason why he did get a hair cut is because my hubby went bold and thought i'd be cool if our son went bold too cause they would look alike ..since our son is a copy of hubby. they both looked so cute bold together lol, anyways, i dont really see how its hurting the child, its hair.
long hair suits some kids and not some.
Its not up to me what parents choose to do with their kids hairstyle, its really the least of my worries, thats why it doesnt bother.
edit:
" think a boy's hair should be regularly cut from the age of one"
thats what i meant by that comment, she says every boy's hair should be cut at age 1..well not all kids have long hair by the age of 1 now do they.
