I have long hair and I'm thinking of cutting to a length somewhere above my shoulders but below my ears. What is your opinion of long vs. short hair?

For me, generally yes, but I have seen women with very short hair that were certainly very feminine (Demi Moore in Ghost, for sure).

One thing great about long hair is the versatility of wearing it up, or down.

When used to seeing it down, and then I see her wearing it up, seeing her bare back of neck is very sexy.

But likewise, when used to seeing it up, and then you see it all down and flowing, well, that's great also (that Friends episode with Denise Richards http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUI5J0-MG... ).

But you should do whatever you think makes you happy...

I really like long hair alot. I have it too. I wanted to get it cut the way you do but my friends talked me out of it. They said that they liked my long hair better. I find long hair more feminine too but it all depends on your facial features, to tell whether or not you would look good with short hair.

well lol, NO! You may say, hmm.... why? Well let me tell you why! It is all how you where your hair not how long you keep it. I have seen girls with long nasty dirty knoty hair. If you do something sexy with your hair like put a hairband in it or put it in pony tail, then yes you will appear to be more feminine
