Long hair on guys why do schools hate it??

I'm a guy with long hair and my school hates that fact. I grew my hair long becuase i didn't like having short hair. My school is always on my back because i'm a guy with long hair (o no it's the end of the world). Why aren't school accepting of things like this. If i was a girl they wouldn't look twice.

If your hair is really long, you may want to tie it back into a pony tail (use a clear tie). This gives the wonderful illusion from the front of being tidy. Just remember, schools are like society, they are used to and expect conformity. I say keep rockin', man!

Your school just hasn't adjusted yet to more modern times. My fiance's father feels the same way. He says until you have a good job you should have short, boring hair, and no facial hair. :-p

But my fiance just got a great offer for a starting position with a full beard and a pony tail.

It's like not being able to dye your hair colors and having any sort of normal job. Do it while you can -- though maybe by the time you're 25 it won't matter any more :) Since I'm going back to school to finish and have a job on campus I'm thinking I'm going to dye my hair purple or blue...maybe both :D

But guys aren't going to do that?

Guys don't use the same shampoos girls do as girls ones have more variety and different smells.

Guys tend to have produce more oil in the hair and face therefore making it more untidy and thats what your school doesn't wanna look- untidy.

i like guy with longer hair but not too long then it just looks ewww. guys should not have there hair much longer then this ( i know i really dont like zac efron but i will admit he is kinda hot)
